Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Matthew 7:7-11. Try memorizing it during this study!
Today’s reading is from John 11:1-44 (Going Deeper: Proverbs 15:29, Matthew 7:7-11 & 1 John 5:14-15)
THINK. Thoughts & Prayers from Pastor Dave…
Prayer is simply talking and listening to God. It can include many things - from praise and thanksgiving to complaints and anxieties. There are many prayers and teachings on how to pray written in the pages of scripture. They vary in length, type, purpose, posture, and even God’s response. Throughout this study, we’ll be focusing on a prayer from an individual or group each day. They model for us what it can look like to be in conversation with God. As you read, use the questions below (Live) to notice what is present in each prayer. We’ll also give a thought or written prayer for you each day as well!
Father, I pray that, in whatever we may be facing today, we would see you in it and through it. We know that the sadness, sickness, disappointments, and even death we experience here on earth are not the end. Be glorified in them. Use them to drive us into your arms. Thank you that you welcome all our tears in your loving embrace, that we can share our emotions with you, and that you promise to wipe every tear from our eye. We run to you this morning, praying as Jesus prayed - thank you, Father, for hearing us.
Share your emotions with Jesus today in prayer.

LIVE. Use these questions to help you reflect on today’s reading. It’s ok if you don’t answer every question every day! Then, try praying in the posture of prayer you read about each day.

2 | What is happening before, during, or after the prayer?
