Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Hebrews 12:1-2. Try memorizing it during this study!
Today’s reading is from Hebrews 3:1-6 (Going Deeper: Isaiah 9:6-7, John 3:16-21 & Romans 11:1-6)
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
You’ve got to give credit where credit is due. It’s one thing to look at a work of art and recognize it’s beauty - but to fully understand it and appreciate it, we have to recognize the artist. Turn our thoughts toward its creator. In many ways, the audience of Hebrews had forgotten that. Moses gave them the law, and they recognized the law as good. In a way, it felt dishonoring to Moses, the law, the tradition… even God himself, to look to Jesus as superior. Here, the author reminds us to give credit where credit is due. Moses and the law deserve no more credit than a house does for being built. God built the house. God created the art. God gave the law. Of course, the law is good. And in Jesus, it got even better. It was fulfilled. Put your confidence and hope in the artist and the architect today.
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
TALK. That was our take on today’s reading - what’s yours? Share thoughts and ask questions in the forum.
SHARE. Stay focused with a friend! Invite them to text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Stay focused on Jesus today, and make it a great one!
