Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Proverbs 4:13. Try memorizing it this week!
Today’s reading is from Proverbs 3:13-18, Proverbs 4:20-22, Proverbs 14:30, Proverbs 17:22 & Proverbs 28:14
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
God created our bodies and cares about both our hearts and our health. Scripture tells us that followers of Jesus will have glorified bodies in eternity, where there will be no more sadness, death, or pain - only joy, life, and wholeness. Right now, though, we live in a fallen world where our joy is often quelled and our bodies break. Today’s proverbs help us live in light of the eternal comfort that awaits, but they do more than that. They connect our physical well-being to our spiritual health. Science affirms the connection between our mind, emotions, and body, and Proverbs 4:22 connects wise counsel to the health of your entire body. How have you seen this play out in your own life? What are some reasons to pursue physical AND emotional/spiritual health today?
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
CONNECT. Have a question, prayer request, or story? Let us know here or reply via text.
SHARE. Invite a friend to read the Focus with you! Just text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Run the race with endurance today, and stay focused on Jesus.
Make it a Great One!
