Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.

THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
MEMORIZE. Our Scripture Focus for this study is Exodus 15:1-3. Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry God’s Word with us wherever we go.
READ. Today’s reading is Exodus 6:14 - Exodus 7. (Go Deeper: Deuteronomy 7:6-11)
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Mike…
We have free will. This means we have the ability to make choices, create plans, and execute those plans. You know who else has free will? God. We sometimes forget that, and at times we don’t like some of the choices God makes or the plans he executes. This passage of scripture where we read that God “hardened Pharaoh’s heart” has never sat well with me. Why would God make Pharaoh more resistant to the Israelites leaving than he already was, and then bring plagues as punishment for that very resistance. I don’t know. But God has always been faithful to his people and true to his promises, so I trust in his free will. God will accomplish his plans. We can either question him and harden our hearts, or align our will with his and enjoy the fruit of his promises.
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
CONNECT. Have a question, prayer request, or story? Let us know here or reply via text.
SHARE. Invite a friend to read the Focus with you! Just text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Run the race with endurance today, and stay focused on Jesus.
Make it a Great One!
