THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
One simple line from the Christmas story has captivated my attention for years: “Because there was no room for him.” Christmas is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus, God coming to dwell with us here on earth. And yet, on that first Christmas, Jesus was laid in a manger because there was no guest room available for Him. Amidst the gifts, the gatherings, the meals, and the movies this day of celebration brings, will you make room for Jesus? Make some time to be with Him today. To praise Him and be thankful. To reflect. Invite Him in to your day, your life. Make Him your guest of honor. Host Him. Today, a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord. If you’re going to hurry on Christmas, hurry to see Him.
