Growing up, I remember being out on my family’s boat in northern Michigan. The night is really dark up there without the lights of the city - especially on the lake. Darkness is all you can see… and when you can’t see the way, you depend on lights. Lights can serve as signs. They show us the way to go. When it gets too dark to see, boaters look to the stars to navigate or find a light to fix their eyes on and follow. 2000 years ago, a star served as a sign, letting people know King Jesus was born, and how to find Him. Today, our lives can “shine like stars” that point people to the light of Jesus in a dark world. Your life serves as a sign. Shine bright today. Lead the way. Point people to Jesus.
