Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.

THANK.
Write down 5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations.
READ. Today’s scripture reading is from Luke 1:26-38 & Malachi 3:1-4

THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
If you’re reading this today, chances are you’d love to be “used by God” to accomplish his purposes in the world. You’d be up for playing a part in the bigger plan. You’d be excited to see the impossible happen. We have an idea of what God’s favor looks like - but not even the leading part in God’s story feels glamorous. Look back on the emotions Mary felt when the angel appeared to her - deep trouble, wonder, fear, and even doubt. If you feel any of those things in the face of something God may be inviting you into, you’re in good company. The presence of feelings like this does not mean that God is not present. In fact, God would be present with Mary in the midst of them, in a more real way than he had ever been with anyone throughout all of history. Immanuel - God is with us. No matter what you’re facing. No matter what you’re feeling. May our attitude be like Mary’s, “I am the Lord’s servant. May it happen to me as you have said.” God will always be with those who hold nothing back from him.

LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
