Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.

THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
Tarantula in Cambodia, Crickets in SE Asia, Chicatanas (Flying Ants) in Oaxaca, Mexico, Angulas (Baby Eels) in Spain and Casu Marzu (Rotten Maggot Cheese) in Italy. For most in the United States, the thought of eating any of those ranges from weird to disgusting. And yet, these are examples of international delicacies. While culinary tastes vary greatly throughout the many nations of the world, there’s one that satisfies every hunger. The old hymn says Jesus is the dear desire of every nation, and scripture backs it up. In every nation, throughout all of time, the human heart has hungered for (and found satisfaction in) Jesus alone. Though well intentioned, the longing of Band-Aid in their song, “Feed the World” fell short. The longing of every heart is not merely for the finest cuisine, but bread for the soul. What better time than Christmas to truly feed the world? This Advent season, take time to pray that Jesus, the longing of every human heart, would be known in every nation, sung in every tongue, and shared in every tribe. LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
