Yesterday we read that Jesus was born to set us free. Most of us, when we think of that word, think about freedom from something - a person, place, situation, addiction, etc. However, there’s another sense of this word: freedom. We can be free to/for. This sense is less about what we’ve experienced and more about what we haven’t yet experienced. Think about the first day you got your driver’s license - you were free. (I still remember what I was wearing, where I was going, and the song I was listening to!) It’s a freedom to do, feel, and experience things you never have before. Things you may not have even been capable of. Jesus doesn’t just set us from from our past, Jesus sets us free to/for our future. Just think - free from death and sin to live! Free from blindness to see! Healed from disease and set free to walk, run, and dance! Free from depression and anxiety to experience joy in Jesus. Today, confess to Jesus. He will heal and free you from sin to live!

PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
