Good Morning!
If you’re new here, welcome! Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.

WORSHIP FOCUS | 5-15 Minutes
Worship can be as simple as thanking God for who He is & what He does. (Psalm 100:4)
Each day of this study, look for the #21DaysofThankfulness challenge in the Focus.
1. Start out by writing or saying out loud 3-5 things you’re thankful for.
2. Play or sing some worship music you love, or use this Thanksgiving Playlist.

SCRIPTURE FOCUS | 5-15 Minutes
Pray a simple prayer before reading, asking the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth.
(John 14:26)
Today’s reading is from Exodus 20:8-11, Numbers 6:22-27, Micah 4:1-5, Luke 10:38-42 & Matthew 11:25-30
Highlight verses that capture your attention, and ask three simple questions as you read…
S = Say. What is the main point? What does it teach about God (Jesus) & yourself?
O = Obey. What can you apply (practice) from this passage today?
S = Share. Who can you share what you’re learning with today?
One of the best ways to learn more about the Bible is by discussing it with others.
Work through this week’s Discussion Guide and meet up with a Paradox Lifegroup.

A THOUGHT FROM TODAY’S READING…
I am so thankful for rest. I immediately think of hitting the pillow after a long day. Sleep is required, and essential to good health. Rest is life giving. Who doesn’t love a good nap? I think it becomes increasingly difficult to stop or even pause when we are so committed to the everyday hustle and bustle. Be the dependable coworker, or the friend that takes the time to care. There’s an endless list of things to get done. Maybe it’s hard to acknowledge when you need a break. For me that can feel like I’m showing weakness. If I put off rest long enough, warning signs start popping up. I’m not handling everyday affairs the same. I’m losing my temper, and I’m giving little grace to those around me. “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭30)‬ Jesus said to come to Him. He will show you the right pace, a better posture, and assist you. Thank you Jesus that you offer such relief when we come to you. I believe God is always signaling, calling, directing, and loving us in whatever way He sees that we will notice. He calls us to Him in all of life’s situations. I am thankful that Jesus offers His aid in all things. It’s a relief to have a Father that is so supportive. The one who will walk lovingly into any mess to bring comfort, peace and clarity. If you are in any capacity feeling burdened then I encourage you to ask Jesus into your day today. Acknowledge that you need a break or even a minute. Slow down, and take a few minutes to evaluate with Him. Find rest in His presence, and thank Him for it. Happy Thanksgiving! - Rachel Hood

PRAYER FOCUS |
5-15 Minutes
Prayer is a conversation that involves both talking and listening to God.
1. Try memorizing and meditating on 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 during this study.
2. Read Matthew 11:28-30. Take a day off! Rest, enjoy, fill your day with food, activities, and people you love… and thank God for His goodness in it. #21DaysofThankfulness
