Go Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Ephesians 2:19-22. Try memorizing it this week!
Today’s reading is from Matthew 28:18-20 (Going Deeper: Acts 1:8)
THINK. A Thought from Holly MacDonald…
After Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected, He appeared to His disciples to give instructions for their lifelong assignment. Before Jesus shares the mission, He reminds the disciples of His God-given authority, strength, and power. He’s not just a self-proclaimed influencer who is merely giving a suggestion on the next best steps to take. Jesus is giving them a weighty assignment coupled with a gentle reminder that the disciples will never be alone completing it. His mission for us is the same, to work alongside Him to make disciples everywhere, baptize them, and teach them everything He’s taught you. The Great Commission begins with being a disciple yourself, receiving from Jesus first, then going into the world to share it. What is your step as you begin to fulfill The Great Commission? Maybe it’s signing up for Training Camp, inviting someone to church, or perhaps sharing with a friend/co-worker what the Lord is teaching you today.
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
SHARE. Stay focused with a friend! Invite them to text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Stay focused on Jesus today, and make it a great one!
