Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.

THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.

WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.

MEMORIZE. Our Scripture Focus for this study is Exodus 15:1-3. Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorize it, we carry God’s Word with us wherever we go.

READ. Today’s reading is Exodus 34. (Go Deeper: John 14:8-11, 2 Corinthians 3:12-18)

THINK. A Thought from Pastor Mike…
I’ll be honest with you. The day got away from me and I’m writing this at midnight, fighting back my eyelids. I’m not feeling super insightful, and there will likely be typos. So I invite you to follow the SOS template below as you study these passages yourself. For me my main takeaway was that God is really faithful. The Israelites walked through a sea on dry ground, and yet they still struggle to trust God and follow his commands. I’d like to think I’d do things differently than they did, but I probably wouldn’t. God gives us healthy rules to follow for our own good and the good of the common man. God asks us to remember him regularly and share our prized possessions. I struggle with these things. Thank you God for being SO faithful.

LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a lifegroup/church friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations. Pick one each day or pray through them all every day.
