Good Morning!
Let’s focus our day by spending some time with Jesus before it begins.
THANK. Write down 3-5 things you’re thankful for in the last 24 hours.
WORSHIP. Pick a song from one of our Spotify Playlists and let it play in the background.
READ. Our Scripture Focus is Ephesians 6:10-20. Today’s reading is from Psalm 18:1-19, 25-36 & 46-50 (Go Deeper: Romans 13:12-14 & Revelation 12:9-11)
THINK. A Thought from Pastor Dave…
Ephesians 6:11 says to “Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil.” At Paradox Church, we’ve started a Sunday morning series called “Uprising: How to Get Back Up”. If we’re going to start an uprising in our lives, we' have to take a stand. The armor of God passage is part of Paul’s letter to the believers in Ephesus. Ephesus, a wealthy port city, was one of the largest cities in the world at the time of Paul’s writing. It was also home to many different religions, including the temple of the Greek goddess Artemis and other pagan deities (a place not too dissimilar from America today). Paul writes this letter knowing the spiritual, political, and cultural influences present in Ephesus, and he takes significant time in his letter to remind the Ephesian believers of Christ’s role as the head of the church and His power over all other spiritual realities, warfare, and authorities. Our role? To start an uprising by putting on the full armor of God, and taking a stand. As you read, underline the different reasons Paul gives for needing spiritual armor, and then circle the commands given to believers.
LIVE. One practical way to understand and apply the Bible is the SOS method. Ask…
S: What does this passage say about God, and what does it say about me?
O: What am I being invited to obey?
S: What can I share with those around me?
PRAY. Pray for yourself, a family member, a friend, someone who doesn’t know Jesus, and the nations.
CONNECT. Have a question, prayer request, or story? Connect with Us or reply to this text to let us know.
SHARE. Know someone who would love the Daily Focus? Invite them to text “FOCUS” to (586) 200-6277.

Run the race with endurance today, and stay focused on Jesus.
Make it a Great One!
